Simon is a Senior IT Executive with local, regional and global experience. Throughout his career, he has focused on helping organisations build strong linkages between business and IT, and is as comfortable inside the Board Room as he is in the Data Centre.
His career commenced in the UK, where he worked in IT Operations and Data Centre management for fortune 100 companies, focusing on the Financial Services industry. On moving to Australia, Simon joined Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) as an expert in Data Centre automation and IT best practice (ITIL). Simon's enjoyment is clearly in working with people. His deep technical capabilities allow him to liaise between IT and the business, and many of his consulting activities focus on strategy, management of change, organisational design and governance.

Simon was involved in the development of ITIL, (the IT Infrastructure Library), from version 1 to version 3, was part of the version 6 SFIA (Skills Framework for the Information Age) project board and on the SFIA council. He has contributed to the development of the SIAM (Service Integration and Management) body of knowledge and assisted in the creation of the SIAM Foundation examination. Simon is also an ITIL v3 Expert (and Foundation certified at V4), a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), holds a Prince 2 Practitioner certificate, a SIAM Foundation and Practitioner certificate, a SAFe Agilist 4.6 certificate and is an accredited SFIA consultant.
